"Supernatural" has done a marvelous job taking advantage of the horror genre's resurgence, during which demon hunters Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) have tracked down a number of folkloric figures -- Bloody Mary, changelings, the hook man and the Ghost Ship among them. Christmas is too deeply rooted in pagan tradition for the writers to leave it alone.
